A clear inventory is more useful than a general description. Capacity alone does not identify a module: generation, speed, rank, form factor and manufacturer part number can all affect demand. Sending the labels or exact part numbers helps us distinguish apparently similar server memory and review the stock on the correct basis.

What to include in a server RAM stock list
For a useful server-memory valuation, include the manufacturer, full part number, capacity, quantity and condition for each line. If the modules have been tested, say so; if their working status is unknown, describe them as untested. Photographs of the labels can help when a spreadsheet is incomplete.
Keep different part numbers on separate rows even when capacities match. For mixed stock, an approximate count is a reasonable starting point, but a final review may require a more detailed breakdown. There is no need to add your own pricing to the list.
How server-memory valuation works
CJS Tech reviews the information supplied against current commercial interest. Where the inventory is suitable, we can provide a purchase offer and discuss practical shipping or collection arrangements. Equipment is checked against the agreed inventory before the transaction is completed.

Selling mixed server-memory inventories
Mixed memory can still be reviewed, but it should be grouped as clearly as possible. Separate server modules from laptop and desktop RAM, then divide the server stock by generation, capacity and part number. If exact counts are not yet available, explain that the figures are provisional.
Do not remove labels or combine modules into unmarked packaging. Keeping part numbers visible and batches separated makes later checking more straightforward for both sides.

Can I send photographs instead of a spreadsheet?
Yes. Clear label photographs can help identify modules, although a spreadsheet is usually easier for larger quantities. Photographs can be emailed to sales@cjstech.co.uk.
Does condition affect the valuation?
Yes. Tested status, physical condition, specification, quantity and current demand are all relevant. Describe the condition accurately and avoid mixing tested and untested stock on the same line.
